Learning Through Play

Gamified learning through play has become incredibly important in my role, not only for program engagement but also for assessing knowledge retention! As my friend Acey Holmes told me, Playful activities boost brain function and mental & emotional well-being. This leads to improved focus, attention, learning, & memorable experiences that are measurable in impact.


As the creator of these playful moments, I get a boost in all the areas stated above and learn new skills, which has been invaluable.


Adding play into my programming nudge strategy has increased application & impact for key ideas & concepts by 42% in H2 2024.
